FEATURES OF THE SCHOOL
For more than 60 years, PTI has offered skill-specific, career-focused training programs. Students benefit from experienced instructors, internships, part-time job help, full-time job assistance, brush-up classes, and an active alumni network. In July 2000, PTI moved to its 180-acre North Fayette Campus west of the city. PTI also operates its Cranberry Center at the Regional Learning Alliance north of the city. The institution's Center for Certification and Adult Learning offers on-line/on-site degrees and short-term certificates for the non-traditional student. In 2009 and 2010, PTI was designated a military friendly school. PTI earned PAPSA's Community Service Award in 2001, 2002, 2007 and 2010, as well as PAPSA's Instructor of the Year Award seven of the past eleven years.
